Bigger Better Fraud Prevention

You've heard about it in the news — the Target breach, the Home Depot breach — hackers making headlines by stealing card information from people like you. At Southeast Financial, we take threats like these very seriously. That's why we're beefing up our security with a bigger, better fraud prevention system. Previously, you would have received a call if fraud was suspected. With this new system, you'll receive fraud alert text messages on your phone.

Our new automated system will enable:

Immediate Alerts When suspicious activity has been detected in your account, we don't wait for an agent to dial your number. Our automated system will contact you by text.

2-Way Communication You can take action the second your receive your alert by texting the provided command word.

Real-Time Support Our live agents are ready to assist you at any time to ensure you receive the best defense exactly when you need it.

Our new automated system will reach you faster with the tools and information you need to identity potential fraudulent activity immediately and stop it in its tracks. The new system will begin monitoring transactions on June 6. We recommend members log in to Online Banking to review and update contact information to make sure you receive fraud alerts.

Members should be aware that while Southeast Financial does monitor fraudulent or suspicious account activity and may proactively contact a member about this activity, we will never call and ask for confidential information such as your account number or PIN.
