A Tribute to Kira Austin
In recognition of Kira's impact on our team and community, the Goodlettsville branch will close early on Friday, August 23, 2024, at 3:30 PM. We appreciate your understanding as we come together to honor Kira’s memory.
With heavy hearts, we share the loss of our beloved colleague, Kira Sue Austin, who passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, August 17, 2024, at the age of 43. Next week would have marked Kira’s 23rd anniversary with Southeast Financial Credit Union. She began her journey with us on August 27, 2001, as a Member Service Representative in the Member Service Call Center. Kira was later promoted to FSR Floater and then transferred to the Goodlettsville branch as an FSR. She eventually became the Branch Manager of our Bowling Green location before returning to Goodlettsville as Branch Manager.
Kira’s kindness, dedication, and genuine care for others touched the lives of everyone around her. She was not only a leader but also a friend to so many. Her warmth and compassion made our branches feel like a second home to both her colleagues and our members.
As we mourn her loss, we also celebrate the love and kindness she brought into our lives. Kira’s memory will remain with us, reminding us to continue her legacy of compassion and dedication.
